The KidsQuest weekend ministry offers both large group and age specific opportunities where elementary kids learn about God’s love in age-appropriate and exciting ways. Download information for Renton and Kent about where to find the weekend KidsQuest class for your child.
What to Bring
Parents, you can encourage your children to get in the habit of bringing their Bibles to class, along with an offering to God. Please do not allow your child to bring any toys, gum, candy, or other items from home.
The S.P.I.C.E ministry (Special Person in Christ’s Eyes) is a mentor program for elementary age special needs children, regardless of learning disabilities, handicaps, or challenges. Available at the Renton campus, Sundays at 9:30 and 11:10 am. Registration required. Contact the Children’s Ministry office for more information, (425) 255-4751.
Other Events and Opportunities:
Goin’ Vertical is a yearly graduation retreat for sixth graders who are moving into seventh grade. This retreat, held each spring at the Great Wolf Lodge, helps sixth graders smoothly transition into junior high ministries.
We partner with Lake Retreat Camp to provide a week long camp in July for children entering grades 4-6. Each year, over 100 campers from Highlands attend this week of spiritual growth and fun. Brochures are available each spring and registration is handled online.
Awana is a Bible-centered club for children ages three through 6th grade that meets Wednesday evenings during the school year.
Upward Basketball & Cheer
Each winter we offer Upward Basketball and Cheerleading for boys and girls in grades 1-6.
