Serving in Children’s and Student Ministries at Highlands
Our team members, who faithfully serve each week to teach and reach the children and students of Highlands Community Church, are the heart of the ministry.
Children’s and Student Ministries team members are adults and teens who care deeply about the spiritual needs of children. They are committed to ministering effectively to Highlands’ children and students, preparing for their classes/small groups, praying for the children and students, and attending team member training times.
Team Member Screening Process
All team members are required to complete an application form and sign a covenant. In addition, team members are screened through the Washington State Patrol and a national screening service, and reference checks are completed. Children’s and Student Ministries pastors and directors review each application prior to placing a team member in a classroom/small group.
How to Get Involved
If you are interested in being a part of the Children’s and Student Ministries team, please contact the Children’s and Student Ministries office at (425) 255-4751. We have opportunities for everyone who would like to use their gifts serving the Lord and ministering to children and students.
We care about our team members and it is a priority to build into those who minister to our children and students. A number of resources are available and our staff team is committed to helping you have a positive experience. Contact Kathy Aiello for more information.
