Next Gen Student Ministries

At Highlands, we believe that we grow as we learn, discuss, and apply God’s Word together. We are better together! In September, we kicked off our church-wide study in Galatians and that includes our student ministries (middle school, high school, and college). Just a few weeks ago, we launched over 35 middle school and high school small groups and they are diving into meaningful conversations around Galatians.

Did you know that on Sunday nights at HCC over 235 high school students and leaders come together to study God’s Word? Forty leaders come early each week for our “leader huddle” before we serve a full dinner to our high school students from Renton, Kent, and our surrounding community and then they break into 25 discipleship groups. Our middle school students break into small groups as a part of their Sunday morning experience in Renton and Kent. This fall, we are launching college-age small groups in our community to gather and grow together by diving deeper into Galatians.

Many students comment on how significant their small groups are in helping them grow in Christ. If you would like more information about any of these small groups for students, please contact the Next Gen Office. Your prayers are appreciated as we help the next generation find and follow Jesus!
