Health & Safety Update | Services this Sunday
November 19, 2020

Many of you are aware of the recent rise in COVID cases and new requirements the State of Washington has put in placeWe are grateful to be permitted to continue meeting in person and want to do our best to honor the newest guidelines because we want to love our neighbors well and promote their health and safety.

You are probably wondering, what will this Sunday look like for Highlands? Here’s what to expect

  • We will continue to meet both in person and online, and will continue to follow the capacity limitations and CDC guidelines for maximum safety (physical distancing, cleaning surfaces, etc.)
  • We will continue to require everyone to wear a mask.
  • We will be adjusting the format and instrumentation of the musical part of our service in order to minimize risk.
  • We will be encouraging people to worship by meditating on the lyrics instead of singing.

Our desire is to care for our community and love our neighbors. We encourage anyone who is high risk to continue joining us online, and as always, please do not attend in person if you have any symptoms. If you are more comfortable attending online right now- please know that we fully support that decision, and we look forward to when we can all gather together again.
