Inevitably, in life we will experience times where we feel we have been given more than what we signed up for. Surprise events can bring unexpected delights and unanticipated demands. While working at HCC, Dana Englehart found out that she was pregnant…with triplets! Since then she and her husband, Todd, have daily experienced delight and demand through the gift of their three children, Turner, Dillon, and Ashton.

For 20 years, Dana has also served as an administrative assistant of Adult Ministries here at HCC. More unexpected delights and demands! International Ministries, Sunday classes, small groups and special events are just some of the places where Dana has enjoyed seeing God at work in unexpected, life changing ways.  Serving multiple pastors in multiple areas of ministry has also provided its share of delights and demands.

Ask Dana her secret to success in these times and she will tell you, she talks to God throughout the day: requests for strength, expressions of gratitude, and times of uncertain waiting to see what God will do. And she has repeatedly seen God do more than she could have ever asked for or imagined!

Anyone who has served with Dana will say that they too have experienced more than what they could have asked for or imagined. Dana is known for her mystical multi-tasking, honest humor, gracious support, and creative ideas. We are so thankful for being able to serve with her these past 20 years! Please join with me in thanking God for Dana and her family.
