RENTON SPANISH CHURCH SUPPORT

At the start of the Covid pandemic, the Highlands Missions Team was made aware of a Spanish language church in the Renton area that was struggling. Specific areas where they needed help included church members suffering from Covid, members impacted by Covid, and difficulty in continuing their Spanish internet radio program that reaches communities around the world with the gospel. The Missions Team was pleased to offer support to help this local church in their time of need.
Below is a thank you note from the church, Iglesia Vida, expressing their heartfelt gratitude in Christ for the support they received.
Thank you very much for your generous gift of love. It is an answered prayer that will help faithful servants and their ministry efforts during this crisis. Three of the people that your gift will touch are the following:
Lester Garcia has been a faithful worship pastor and leads a spiritually healthy small group. He is also leading a weekly internet radio program with testimonies of people that have come to faith in Jesus. His wife, Marisol is pregnant, and she lost her job due to Covid-19.
Fernando Aguilar is a godly man and a faithful servant helping us to coordinate the evangelistic efforts and multiplication of our small groups as a volunteer. Fernando and Anahi are expecting their first child next month.
Monica is a missionary lady that has served the Lord faithfully for over 30 years and now leads two international small groups in which people are coming to faith.
Since the pandemic started, we are leading our services and small groups online. By God’s grace, we have been able to reach people in other countries of Latin America. We have people from 10 different countries connecting in our small groups, and we are receiving messages periodically about people in far-away places coming to faith in Christ. Your generosity is an answered prayer for these faithful servants and helps support the expansion of the kingdom of God.

Through Highlands Community Church’s contribution to this partner in Christ in the Renton area, they have been able to meet the needs of several members of their church community as well as continue their Spanish internet radio broadcast bringing the gospel to Spanish communities around the world.
