Celebrating God’s Work Through Our Global Partners in Eurasia
An Update from Our Missionary Care Program
This month, through the generosity and faithful giving of our Highlands Community Church family, our Missions Team had the privilege of participating in a biannual retreat as part of our ongoing Missionary Care Program. More than just an event, this was a deeply meaningful time of encouragement, renewal, and connection.

Over the course of five days, our team gathered in one place with our Eurasia-based global partners. We worshiped side by side, prayed for one another, studied God’s Word, and reflected on the mission we share. It was also a valuable opportunity to reassess how we can more effectively support, equip, and walk alongside those serving in some of the most spiritually challenging regions of the world.
One of the most powerful moments of the retreat was hearing the testimonies of many of our global partners who come from a Muslim background. These brothers and sisters have experienced profound transformation and are now boldly discipling others and sharing the Good News of Jesus within their own communities. Their stories are living reminders of the Gospel’s power to bring hope, healing, and salvation to all people.

“For I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God that brings salvation to everyone who believes…”
—Romans 1:16
Their courage, humility, and passion deeply moved us. Many serve in places where following Christ can come at great personal cost—yet they press on with joy and conviction, grounded in their love for Jesus and their desire to make Him known.
We left the retreat humbled, inspired, and more committed than ever to our role in God’s global mission. Whether by praying, giving, or going, each one of us at Highlands is part of this Kingdom work.
Thank you for being a generous and mission-minded church family. Your support allows us to care for those on the front lines of ministry and to continue building strong, Christ-centered partnerships across the globe.
Let’s continue to pray for our partners in Eurasia—that God would strengthen them, provide for them, and bear lasting fruit through their faithfulness.
“Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to His power that is at work within us…”
—Ephesians 3:20
