At Highlands we believe that people matter and serving is an act of worship. Becoming part of one of our teams is a great way to worship God and serve people.
We desire to help each person who calls Highlands home identify and utilize their spiritual gifts, abilities, and passions in serving on a regular basis. To get started, check out our serve teams below.
Bring Sunday mornings to life from the stage or behind the scenes.
Be a friendly face on Sundays by greeting guests, pouring coffee or helping people find their way.
Help the next generation learn more about Jesus! From rocking babies to discipling high schoolers, we have a place for you to get involved!
Grow in your faith by leading others. Host or lead a community group, lead a study, or facilitate a care group.
Prefer serving behind the scenes? Help prepare the building for activities throughout the week. Love to take pictures or capture video? Help us capture and share stories of life change.
We have opportunities throughout the year to serve our community through outreach events or donation drives. Or sign up to go on a short term mission trip.
At Highlands we fully believe the words of Jesus are as true today as the day he first spoke them when he said, “go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.” This commission motivates all that we do at Highlands and is a calling on all of our lives.
We plan and provide the opportunity for our Highlands Family to participate in various projects initiated by our missionaries on the field.
Vision trips are intended for pastoral care, evaluation of the past and focus for the future of our ministry.
