CARE

We all have a story–we are here to walk alongside you through yours.

Find Care

We all go through crisis and difficult seasons of life. Highlands Community Church is committed to help you at your point of need. It’s all part of our mission to bring the hope and healing of the gospel to our broken world!

Care Groups

CELEBRATE RECOVERY

The purpose of Celebrate Recovery is to fellowship and celebrate God’s healing power in our lives through the eight Christ-centered recovery principles. By working and applying these Biblical principles, you will grow spiritually and find freedom from hurts, habits, and hang-ups.

Every Friday  |  7-9 PM  | Fellowship Hall (in person and via Zoom)

For more information, visit our Celebrate Recovery page or contact Darla Lorbeski or Mike Loos.

CHEERLEADERS & CHAMPIONS

The purpose of Cheerleaders and Champions is to encourage and strengthen those who are dealing with cancer. This Christ-centered group offers friendship for life through sharing, listening, laughing, learning, opening God’s Word and praying. It welcomes both women and men, those with cancer, and those who can lend a supporting hand.

For questions, please contact Ernie or Norene Antin.

DIVORCE CARE

Experiencing separation or divorce? Maybe you’ve been divorced but still struggle with the after effects? Give DivorceCare a try. It is led by others who have walked this path and can help guide you through the healing process towards wholeness. The 14-week program is a combination of video, discussion, and includes a guidebook. Divorce is painful but it does not need to define who you are or your future. This session takes place from January 18-April 18, 2024 and will meet in person in Room 201 and via Zoom. This care group session is intended for both men and women to participate.

For questions, contact Cheryl Jones or visit DivorceCare for more information on this ministry.

GRIEF SHARE

GriefShare is a 13-week series that is led by people who understand what you are experiencing and offer encouragement during this difficult time.   Each session includes a video featuring top experts on grief recovery, followed by a group discussion where you will have the opportunity to interact with others who have experienced a recent loss, learn about their experiences, and share your own.
Visit GriefShare for more information on this ministry.
