Helping men find and follow Jesus

Helping men find and follow Jesus

Our mission is to help the men of our church become disciples; men called to walk with Christ, equipped to live like Christ, and sent to work for Christ (2 Timothy 3:15-17).
This is carried out by helping men develop authentic relationships with other Christian men at Highlands that will help them find the true meaning of the gospel through relevant teaching and shared experiences, and become leaders and living examples of the gospel in their households, community, and the world.

“Do you have enough to retire?”
Financial planning advertisements are full of messages cautioning us to save money, invest wisely, plan ahead—all so that we can retire comfortably. There is wisdom in planning ahead, Proverbs tells us. But what exactly are we saving for? God calls us to live a generous life—right now! How can we overcome the anxiety about the future so that we can build his Kingdom every day? Join Brett Clemmer as we examine how to live generously in an uncertain world.

A Man and His Design starts with meaningful insights into the current state of manhood, which will help men navigate through some realities that have created cultural confusion. It follows by unfolding God's mandates for all men and offering a clear definition of authentic manhood that will help men on their journey. Each participant will learn the four "faces" of manhood and how to anticipate and transition through the specific seasons of life.
