As we’ve talked through this change, one of our priorities has been caring well for our volunteers and staff and guarding against burnout. Adding a service certainly stretches us, but we believe it’s something we can do thoughtfully and responsibly for this season. It has also prompted good conversations about our long-term approach to healthy growth.

This change will require additional volunteers to help make it possible. If you feel called to step forward and serve, whether with Kids ministry, Connections team, or another area, we would love for you to do so! Serving is one of the most tangible ways we care for one another and for those who are new among us. You can sign up to serve here.

Many have found it helpful over the years to attend one service and serve or attend a class at another. With these new service times, it provides an opportunity for you to consider adopting this rhythm as well. These additional service times also create space for us to invite friends, neighbors, coworkers, and family members to come with us. As we make this move, consider who you might invite with you.

Our team has worked hard to think through the many details this change involves, and we know there will still be things we learn along the way. We’re committed to listening, adjusting, and serving people well as we move forward together.
