Elementary Summer Camp 2026 Recap

At this year’s Elementary Summer Camp, we saw God provide and move in so many incredible ways. We are continually amazed by the leaders God brings to serve each year. Their intentionality, enthusiasm, and commitment to the growth and discipleship of our campers make camp possible and impactful. We are also grateful for the many campers who attended this summer.

We welcomed several new campers, including some who arrived feeling nervous or unsure but courageously said “yes” to attend. It was a joy to watch them grow throughout the week as they became more confident, engaged, and connected with their cabin groups and leaders. While we know camp creates opportunities for both spiritual and personal growth, seeing that transformation happen in real time is always exciting and encouraging. Watching campers grow in confidence and resilience while being cheered on by caring leaders is what a church camp community is all about.

Our morning and evening chapel sessions were filled with worship, games, and biblical teaching. We worshiped through songs such as “Take You at Your Word” & “The King is in the Room. Through our theme, CHAMPIONS, campers learned about various missionaries and explored the life of the Apostle Paul. Together, we discovered that Paul was a champion because he loved God, trusted God, never gave up, and loved people. Campers were challenged to listen carefully, ask questions, seek what God was teaching them, and respond by making meaningful decisions in their own faith journeys.

Finally, thank you to all the parents who entrusted us with the care of their children during camp. Your support means so much. We also want to express our deepest gratitude to all the counselors and assistant counselors—the true heroes of camp—whose love, energy, and sacrifice make weeks like this possible.

We already look forward to next summer, but for now, we rejoice and celebrate all that God has done and continues to do in the lives of these campers.
